#Politics A reputed leader from one of the national parties, while in a massive (photoshopped) gathering, exclaimed that a muslim can not offer pushpanjali. Sad that he is a Bengali. There has been innumerable occurrences in very recent history, in the fields of Literature and music where a born Muslim had written songs to praise Maa Kali and Maa Saraswati. They prayed to them as well. One of them continued to become the national poet of Bangladesh. Can we not have leaders in Bengal who are correctly educated and who neither resorts to showbiz nor divisive politics ? A particularly sad state of affairs.
