Politics Alert( it is the season... :) ) To send out a campaign mailer that attempts to raise money with a lie and not addressing the core issue is NOT what we need in ANY Representative. If any politician will do that here, WHAT are they doing inside the offices of the General Assembly? Have we learned nothing of having a resume? Greg Meyer appears to have no private sector or real world experience, and what he has in promoting shame/guilt in our Orange County students is the last thing I want in a Rep for our District 50. The local press will not touch this issue. David Gephart should tell us if he knew of this trait when he (1 of 4) selected Meyer. Chris Weaver Wednesday, October 1, 2014 Rush Limbaugh spent the last two days attacking Graig on his radio show.(one day only-cw) Rush said Graig is a Looney Tune. He called Graig racist and said Graig is ashamed of being white.(Gregs words-cw) Rush and his fans seem to think that Graigs work on closing the achievement gap makes him racist.(it has not worked-cw) During Graigs time running the Blue Ribbon Mentor-Advocate program, his students had a 97.5% graduation rate. Graig is a nationally recognized speaker on addressing issues of race in our schools.(and nationally recognized by his guilt: Courageous Conversations on Race amazon/Courageous-Conversations-About-Race-Achieving/dp/0761988769 -cw) Id love to send you a link to listen to Rushs rant, but frankly Im not going to pay for that garbage. Graig has been getting hammered by Limbaughs fans on Twitter, Facebook and email. Its a shame that theres still so much hate in the world.( its not hate, its observation unless the hate is Meyers for his racial condition-cw) Unfortunately, Rushs hate language is getting some traction in Graigs district, and we need you to help us fight back.
