Politics with a difference: You may not be surprised to see politicians in our country who visit their constituency once in 5 years. This is normally applicable to many who may be Ministers,MPs,MLAs,in Localbodies etc and exceptions are rare. I do not have much of interest in politics or political parties. When my father expired in July 2013 we needed to clear the bushes, level the field and remove debri as we expected to have hundreds of visitors .Suddenly a man appeared in the scene and told that he has come to do whatever he can render he is here for it and moved with his people to bring Municipal lorry to clear the site for erecting a pandal. When the underground drainage works are undertaken people had lot of complaints and he was there every day at each street doing what best he can do. When Adhar work was undertaken in ward our entire street population were taken by surprise as our names have gone just missing. We tried our level best but could not make out any thing. This man along with the help of our resourceful neighbors made a search in offices,net etc and found a part our names simply migrated to other wards. He went to different places and got the list of “migrated”persons and after two days we got our Adhar enrollment done. I saw him in the school for the entire period and he received more abuses than thanks. I am putting this status to make a mark about people who come again to people during the tenure of their office. Here this person is Mr Govindarajan and his ife is our ward councilor. His wife represents VI ward in Udumalpet Municipality He represents his wife to attend these types of works where she cannot run from pillar to post to do the needed works We need many more Govindarajans from Municipality, Corporation, Assemblies and Parliament. I know him very little but I am impressed with what I saw and his help to a relatively a stranger ...
