Polling grumpy, dissatisfied with everything people and then sharing the results, I feel, ends up giving a very skewered perspective of how the greater majority of us feel...Rather self indulgent, and I dont really trust statistics that much, knowing how they can be manipulated to the max to give any perspective desired. Most folks I know are hard working, happy, enjoying life, grateful to live here as opposed to many other places, not shrill, angry, mo fos who dislike almost everything. . Hard to consider that so many Americans who still have a higher standard of living compared to most every other country, who still do more to help those in need than most other places cant ever see the sunshine, or even enjoy the rain without moaning and groaning. What ever happened to gratitude for the simple gift of life and the promise of being able to go for the rainbow? There have always been richer than I folks, always will be, and I one who never measured happiness based only on money, having grown up around folks with next to nothing materially,who still seemed to live lives of dignity, decency, and richness of experience, laughing often and truly.Things I am wondering this fine early morning....
