Pondering on the leadership of David..... The Shepherd King , and principles which made him a man after Gods own heart . Ive reposted this on my timeline, because the spirits timing of this message for Country Sint Maarten is nothing short of yet again further evidence of our Fathers sovereignty and all consuming power over the inhabitants of this land. Theres another important point to remember , and this being that Gods rejection of Saul was a direct consequence of his rejection of God. Gods love for us is awesome , one we are unable to readily understand with our human minds, and time and time again , He affords us the opportunity to turn ourselves back to Him, back to His principles of true worship,true sacrifice ! And yet,if and when , we continue to reject His advances towards us , we will inevitably face the same rejection as Saul did! And the same rejection that Pharaoh suffered when he too failed to accept the all powerful doings of the God of Moses , we know that this rejection ultimately led to Pharaohs death at the crossing of the Red Sea! A sad and tragic demise for this leader and politician !
