Poor Splash. We got a new boarder in and today she (the boarder) kicked Splash, about halfway between the knee and chest. A little cut because she came with shoes on. I am having the hinds pulled Wed. Anyways, just went out to check on her and her whole leg is swollen from the elbow all the way down past her knee. Surprisingly, especially given the hot house flower that she is, she is showing no signs of lameness. I expect that will change by morning. So the unknown mare now has a name appropriate to one who hurt my baby. *itch! >:[
