*Poor in Majority* The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) - TopicsExpress

*Poor in Majority* The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “I stood by the gate of Jannah and saw that the majority of those who entered were the poor and wretched. The rich (Muslims) were detained while the people of Jahannum were ordered to be taken to Jahannum.” [Bukhari] Not all the people who are to enter Jannah go together into Jannah. Even those who are to enter Jannah without any sort of punishment may be delayed. The more wealth a person has, the longer and more arduous is his auditing. So, the rich among the Muslims account for the wealth that Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) placed at their disposal and this delays their entrance into Jannah. There are some people who travel by bus. They have to wait in the sun and rain for their ride, and the bus ride is uncomfortable and tiring. But when they arrive at their destination they go straight in. On the other hand are people who travel comfortably in their own cars, arriving in good shape at their destination, but their entrance is delayed because they have to first find a spot in the parking lot to responsibly dispose off their cars. With benefits come extra responsibilities.
