Pope Francis has come under fire from traditionalists who are criticizing his methods, particularly his constant interaction with what we know as ordinary people (thats you and me, folks! ) Listening with interest (and disbelief) that some Catholics are enraged at the Pope during the Holy Thursday Mass washing the feet of women. Apparently this goes against church rules which, as a Catholic, Ive never heard of all my life. 1.Our priests here in Samoa have always invited men, women, and children up during this pre-Easter ritual every year. 2. We wanted a Pope with a personal touch. We have him now. We wanted change. We have it now. 3. Relax your nuts. I dont know how you go to church and still find time to nitpick at some ancient technicality noone knows about. Go and pray. Yall need Jesus.
