Poppy: I heard my brother Pickles was named Murphy today. I love that! I definitely suit the name Poppy, since each day I pop a little bit more out of my shell and warm up to my new family. Its a bit scary, to be honest! I am with a fairly loving family, and they want whats best for me - this I know. But there is so much to learn and to explore. I am so happy my Mama is taking things nice and slow, has experience in working with traumas in an unknown past, and even recognizes some of my cues of stress. This family loves me so much - and I have even started to become a runner with my Dad! I know that they will show me how to be comfortable and confident, since they clearly love me so very much. I have 3 human siblings, my pawrents, and a warm place all my very own. I am a very lucky pup, thats for sure!
