Portland Parke Apartments Update: I spoke with Kay, the new manager of the apartments today. She said they are still finishing up the remodeling plans, but the first phase will be the NE building which will serve as the "show home" and new leasing office. Near-term upgrades include a new security fence on the back side of the property, additional lighting, and 24 hour security. Kay is excited for the opportunity to work with Skyline Neighborhood and would like to attend a neighborhood meeting this Fall to share more information. She reassured me that they already have their financing in order to pay for the "major improvements." The entire project will take 24-36 months to complete, but we will see progress from now on! -Kris Bryant
