Portlands Downtown District and the City are teaming up to bring recycling to the Old Port Festival this year. We are trying to recruit volunteers who are willing to help spread the word and draw attention to the recycling bins during the event on Sunday, June 8. Volunteers will receive a special t-shirt commemorating the Old Port Festival and the satisfaction of knowing they helped make the event more environmentally friendly. Well be running two shifts of volunteers: 11 AM - 2 PM and 2 PM - 5 PM. People can sign up for the time that works best for them.
