Position: Associate, Graphic Designer @ Astro AWANI - Motion Graphic Designer required to create outstanding animation and motion graphic work for bulletin & non-bulletin shows. Successful candidates should be capable of taking projects through the phases of concept, design, production and delivery - Ensure creative concepts achieve client goals, while considering tight deadlines, technological or budgetary restraints. - Work & deliver according to approved Workflows/Standard Operating Procedures & Standard Workflow Procedures - Assist & support editorial teams of bulletin & non-bulletin shows in terms of graphics and all other related materials - Identify possible or emerging problems relating to functional areas - Execute solutions, in consultation with supervisor, editorial and/or BOE - Carry out all assigned duties with full commitment and dedication - Develop skills in related functions by learning through the production process (Multitasking) Job Description - Degree / Diploma in Art, Computer Graphic, Multimedia, Film Animation or related field with minimum 3 years’ experience animating in After Effect - Excellent and dynamic portfolio demonstrating skills of designing and animating motion graphic concepts - Fluent in After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and 3D Max. Cinema 4D is a plus - Knowledge in Real-Time Graphic Systems; WASP is an advantage - Excellent design sense, including color and typography - Basic knowledge on storyboarding - Timely ability to deliver good quality graphics - Keen interest & understanding of news & current affairs - Bilingual - fluent in Bahasa Malaysia & English - Good knowledge in the latest TV & broadcast technology - Meticulous & methodical - Good team player - Reliable, fast and structured and a high degree of responsibility - Able to work on shift, public holidays, longer hours & under pressure - Has own transportation - Mail CV and online show reel to [email protected]
