Position: Marketing Manager Group Director - Financial Services Location: Manhattan Status: Full Time Estimated Duration: Possible Full Time Starts: March 2014 Rate: DOE Job Description: Our client is an integrated marketing communications agency that caters to financial services and wealth management clients. They currently have two (2) full-time opportunities within their in-house marketing and creative services team. 1.) Marketing Manager - Salary up to $100K - Bachelor’s degree required - B2B / Below the line Agency experience required - 5+ years integrated marketing experience required with digital/interactive experience (development in email marketing, websites, social media, etc.) - Financial Services industry knowledge highly desired, with emphasis on Asset Managers / Wealth Management / potentially Insurance investments (versus retail bank or payments) - Strong marketing fundamentals and ability to effectively evaluate marketing communication tactics (content, design and user experience) - Proven ability to develop successful communication strategies and marketing plans required - Ability to think strategically and synthesize disparate information to recognize trends, add value to client partners and inform account planning process - Solid project management and decision making skills required - Ability to recognize and anticipate impact of specific actions on overall project or client relationship - Strong analytical mindset, ability to quickly identify and articulate the components of a complex project or issue and effectively plan solution - Highly organized and detail oriented - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required - Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project required 2.)Group Account/ Marketing Director - 10+ years’ relevant B2B digital marketing experience that includes content marketing/digital marketing, (e.g. email, mobile, websites, digital publishing, social media) and leveraging other thought leadership assets (seminars, white papers, etc.) effectively through digital channels. - B2B / Below the line Agency experience required - Experience in B2B and B2B2C Financial Services marketing/sales enablement is required, ideally with a focus on Asset Management, Insurance, or Wealth Management. - Strategic thinking. Ability to identify needs, propose solutions, negotiate and close sales and resolve business issues based upon a deep understanding of clients’ businesses. - History of helping companies drive success through distributed relationship-oriented sales organizations via development and deployment of materials, tools, and tactics to support sales. - Experience with sales enablement solutions desirable (i.e., salesforce integration, content management solutions) - Demonstrated track record in client relationship development and service - Demonstrated success pitching or selling new business to new clients and/or expanding existing relationships - Produce, articulate and “sell” original thinking that adds value to client relationships - Strong team leadership and decision making skills required - Maintains a positive, action-oriented posture focused on delivering results - Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related field required - Ability to travel up to 35% of the time If you feel you are qualified for this position please send your resume (and samples if applicable) to: [email protected] Best wishes!
