Qualifications and Experience: • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Worked in medium size pharma equipments manufacturing units in developing new machines completely i.e. all mechanical, electrical & instrumentation components. • Experience of around 13 years for Diploma holder and around 9 years for Degree holder. Out of total experience, he should have worked for more than 5 years at middle management level (Executive to Manager) where he is answerable to top management for results. • Should have sound knowledge on material selection, engineering and machining tolerances, cGMP requirements of machines. Should have personally executed tasks like renovating existing machines, design and development of custom made machines, new tooling to improve productivity etc. • Should have adequate knowledge of processes e.g. DM water system, Viscosity control, temperature monitoring and recording systems. • Should have conceptual knowledge of HVAC system. • Preference will be given to the candidate with experience in Plastic Injection molding and or coatings on different metals. • Knowledge on SPC, Kaizen, ISO 3. Reporting: • The candidate will report to CEO. 4. Key deliverables: • The candidate will be reporting to his Dept. head, CEO. • Shall be responsible for fulfilling the expectations of production people viz. renovating existing machine, developing new machine etc. Shall have to co-ordinate all the works viz. mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc. • Should be able to design tooling as per product specifications and validate its correctness. • Should be cost effective and committed to delivery dates. Additionally the candidate should be planned, systematic, energetic, active and alert. Have proactive working style, strong aptitude & innovative thinking for developing new items, products etc. • He should be good communicator and with aptitude to handle challenges outside his work area. 4 (a). Technical Competencies: • Knowledge of Material Testing, engineering and machining tolerance. • Knowledge on cGMP requirements of machines. • Experience on renovating existing machines. • Design & development of custom made machines. 4 (b). Behavioral Competencies: • Team Spirit • English Communication • Analytical Skills 5. Job Location: The Job is at the company located at Boisar Tarapur MIDC. Boisar is 85 Kilometers from Mumbai and is at 1.5 hrs. Journey by train from Borivali Station or by road via western express highway. The ambience at Boisar is peaceful & enjoyable for family & children. Boisar has good schooling & hospital facilities. 6. Compensation: • The compensation will commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate in line with Pharma industry • The Company provides an un-furnished 2BHK flat in its housing complex in residential area near Boisar Station. The housing complex is at a distance of 4 km. from the company. 7.
