To cope with extremely high business growth and uphold their leadership position in the market, our client is seeking a highly caliber candidate for the position of Product Manager - Fragrance. LOCATION Taipei, Taiwan POSITION & MAIN PURPOSE The Product Manager - Fragrance will hold responsible for managing the Fragrance product line and enlarging the market penetration, deepening consumer loyalty through effective product positioning, product promotion, consumer relationship marketing, direct marketing plans, and product campaigns. He/She has to fully understand the product nature, product positioning, and transform the consumer insights into practical product management interventions. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP The Product Manager - Fragrance reports directly to Marketing General Manager in Taipei. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The Product Manager - Fragrance plays a critical role in marketing department, and responsible for product marketing planning and sales forecasting, visual display and counter operations, VIP customer management, etc. The key responsibilities and priorities of the position will include, but not be limited to the following: - Marketing and Forecasting: - Plan implementation of Fragrance marketing plans and budgets for Taiwan market. - Formulate and manage Fragrance marketing, consumer promotion, relationship marketing and direct marketing plans/campaigns. - Plan and Forecast Demand for each new and existing Fragrance products in line with inventory targets. - Work with Logistics Dept, assure good inventory quality (finish goods, samples & SPM) both in the warehouse & counters; assure labeling Logistics Dept carries out procedures and ensure shelf-life/stock turn of each SKU. - Coordinate with local Communications management team, training team, sales team to optimize the execution of any campaign. - Work with CAP (Regional Marketing) counterparts to get clear guidelines, input local market needs and eventually work out best plan for TW market/consumers. - Visual Display and Operations: - Follow-up with logistics department & ensure delivery of planned merchandises are on schedule to counters. - Ensure all Fragrance units; displays & merchandise are well kept with Chanel standards in counters and according to marketing plan. - Work with visual display team to follow up the implementation of Fragrance POS and operational visual merchandising. - Finance - Cooperate with the Inventory & Logistics Department to ensure optimal inventory. - Plan, optimize and control the Fragrance budget expenses to within planned levels while maximize the investment. - Consumer - Based on palm data and external market intelligence, identify Fragrance market trend and potential market segments; analyze store traffic, competitors information and market niches for marketing focus; and analyze marketing effectiveness and promotion feedback in order to offer marketing insights and initiatives to develop local marketing actions. - Develop campaigns for Customer Relation Management. - Conduct market surveys through various means to keep abreast customers’ buying trend. - People: - Support & follow up on relevant motivational and human resource policies of Chanel including Global Vision, Mission &Competencies. - Internal communication: - Always keep data/information transparent and always keep effective communicate with related stakeholders by using matrix communication instead of line communication. IDEAL CANDIDATE The highly motivated and seasoned Product Management professional that is a successful candidate for this role will have: - At least 5 years of solid product marketing experience in cosmetics industry. - Have strategic planning skills, analytical skills, and good at numbers. - Able to make decisions independently. - Should be innovative and self-motivated. - Have good communication skill internally and externally. - Should familiar with Office system. - Should be fluent in both Chinese and English EDUCATION University graduated or above, major in marketing or business administration is a plus.
