Position: Quality Assurance Supervisor Pay Rate: 66K – 80K Location: Houston, TX, 77086 General Job Requirements: Job Summary: Coordinate with inspection, testing and quality assurance operations to insure compliance with customer requirements and quality processes and procedures. Responsibilities: • Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all times • Provide continual evaluation of the group’s processes and methods, to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment. • Provide day to day supervision of employee job execution, to include; training, performance evaluation and employee relations. • Continually monitor and control inspection operations to insure compliance with applicable quality control documents. • Assure accurate records such as traceability, process control, functional test, demonstrations, etc., are maintained. • Assure test function is performed in a manner consistent with applicable requirements and quality procedures. • Maintain and enforce quality standards. • Perform other work related task as required as assigned. Required Skills \ Skill Level: • Supporting plant operations to ensure plant-wide compliance with API-Q1 and ISO 9001/2008 • Developing and maintaining controls to ensure adherence to QA procedures and policies • Develop & execute a comprehensive Internal & External Audit Program (Product & Process audits) covering both suppliers and the internal processes at the facility. Implement robust processes to ensure timely implementation of Corrective / Preventative Actions to address non-conformances identified during audits. • Ensuring proper staffing, training, development and motivation of personnel • Manage the collection of KPI?s and Business Critical Metrics, and develop additional metrics to improve transparency on process & business performance. • Create and train inspector sample inspection plans • Interact and interface with other departments to facilitate company growth and profitability • Facilitate and host customer audits and source inspections • Review and interpret customer specifications as required • Able to read and interpret blueprints • Competent with various measuring devices • Excellent in the use of computer software such as Word, Excel, etc. • Qualification: • Relevant Work Experience, minimum 5 years of progressive responsibilities in Quality Assurance for Manufacturing or Services organization • Experience in quality management systems- ISO 9001:2008 and API. • Minimum Bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline • ASQC Certified Quality Manager (desired) • ASQC Certified Quality Auditor (desired) • Certified Lean Six Sigma (desired)
