Positivity of the day: My dream life can happen! I spoke with a woman today who is living my dream life. She worked her ass off to retire early at 52 yrs old. She moved to Washington because she couldnt afford to retire in California. She bought an old house on 2 acres in the woods. The land included an old uninhabitable farmhouse. She fixed up the farm house and rented it out to honeymooners and vacationers. She saved enough money rather quickly to purchase some neighboring land which also had an old farmhouse. Again, she fixed it up and so on and so on. Now she is in her 60s and retired but still working every day doing what she loves. Preserving her beautiful 50+ acres, bringing forgotten structures back to life, and providing everlasting memories to people. And in her spare time.. guess what she does?! No really, guess. She makes costumes for the local theatre group!! She wakes up when she wants to, goes exploring in the woods with her dogs, puts life and love back into old building, makes things out of stuff, and designs/creates costumes. I want that life.
