Post Mbu Rivers: Another Three die in Rivers cult clash AT least, three persons were killed during a cult clash in Bane and Kpaa, two Ogoni communities in the Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State. Fifteen others had died earlier in the week. The critics of former Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mbu have kept mum, with Amaechi praising the new commissioner for trying his best. The cultists that Mbu checked have now gone haywire and blood is flowing across the state and the sponsored press are only reporting the figures. While two persons lost their lives in Bane, another person, a young woman, was killed in Kpaa community during the cult clash which happened on Sunday morning. It was gathered that one of the cultists, who had not been identified, was beheaded after being shot. The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Mr. Hyacinth Nwiye, confirmed the development. Explaining that the motive behind the constant cult clashes in the area remained unknown, Nwiye said the headless body of one of those killed during the clash had been taken to the mortuary. “When I heard about the incident, I quickly called the police to find out what happened. I later went there and discovered that the corpses had been brought to the police station.
