Post by Creative Treasures at Wynnum Market Funeral service for Isaac (Ike) Thomlinson - A funeral service for Ike Thomlinson will be held on Thursday 7th August 2014 at 1pm at George Hartnett Funerals room, 39 Bay Terrace, Wynnum. Dress code is open, with lots of colour encouraged for those who wish to. Service will include the Funeral Ritual conducted by the RSL Sub-Branch President or a nominated represenative. For those who have offered to help in some way, we are requesting the following assistance or expertise: 1.A flower wreath arrangement for the coffin, measuring some 80-90cm is required. We have funds to purchase flowers but thought it would be a nice gesture for someone(s) to arrange it; 2. A photo montage on PowerPoint featuring perhaps 20 or so photographs of Ike, to be looped and played throughout the service; 3. Assistance in composing/creating the Booklet of Service - principly layout and design, perhaps some editing; 4. Speakers at the service - we will call upon 2 or 3 (or more) members of the audience to come to the podium and share and anecdotes or other feelings regarding Ike.
