Post from an undisclosed location: Operation Pet Transfer turned into Cat Smugglers Blues. The hotel we were initially set to stay was having trouble with the early check-in. I mentioned the traumatized bird and fish in my car and their hackles went up saying no pets allowed. So they called another local hotel to see if they had room and mentioned the bird and the cat. So when I got here to check in there is a clear no dogs or cats policy, but at this point we are just going to have to be outlaws. I used quite a bit of genius subterfuge to sneak in two cats (while Saylor is crying for fear of losing her kitties :( ), their littler box and their food without raising suspicion. We are now tucked safely inside and I dont imagine we will leave for much. All of the animals need a lot of reassurance. I cant wait to return home on Wednesday,but I am not looking forward to the reverse smuggling operation that will ensue.
