Post match interview with Davies: Robin: Well your first win, must have felt god to have won by what looked like a comfortable margin. Davies: Well you know its been great with the bunch of lads i have right now. Theyve been working so hard in training and im having trouble making up my mind with whos going to be in the starting eleven. You know, but yeh its a great win and hopefully we will boost onto this and win again against spurs. Its going to be tough but hopefully we can pull it off. Robin: It was a class strike wasnt it. Davies: Its nothing compared to what i could score. (laughs) but in all seriousness. I was astonished by the effort he pulled. How on earth did he score that? What a goal, Steven hasnt even worked on his shooting in training. As a centre half i hope he will cherish that moment. Robin: So last time you spoke to the media you told us you were hoping for players to arrive at the campus? Davies: Well hopefully we will eventually bring in players and some will be on their way out, i mean weve already signed two quality players.who have jumped straight into the first team. Maybe one or two more signings, but nothing major. Robin: Theres been some speculation on a few of your players future, for example Adel Taarabt has apparently handed in a transfer request, can you tell us in detail about this situation? Davies: Well, i can tell you now Adel hasnt come to me for anything like that. Infact hes been training hard in the first team and asked me to play him, as i said to all my other players they must work for it. I cant see him being uncertain about his future, especially with a smile on his face after todays result. Robin: Thanks for the time Llewellyn.
