Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position Tentative starting time: Jan 2015 One postdoctoral research fellow position is available in School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The research fellow will be working on a 2-year research project focusing on the social impact of underground construction in Singapore. The research fellow will be part of a highly interdisciplinary research team consisting of civil engineers, environmental engineers, sociologists, and psychologists. - The applicant should have a PhD degree (in social sciences, urban planning, or environmental studies) from a reputed university or institute. - Research experience in urban/environmental issues is highly desirable. Research skills in both quantitative and qualitative methods will be a plus. - The applicant shall be self-motivated and must be able to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
