Posted: Veterans Day, November 11, 2014 Greetings from John Adams, a Veteran of the United States Air Force, Shortly after Election Day, November 4, 2014, I was trying to analyze the results in which I was defeated for the United States House of Representatives in the Third District of Ohio. The results of the vote were a direct response to the question that I put before the voters which was this: “If you are happy with the direction that our country is going, you should vote for my opponent. If you believe that we need to change what we are doing, you should vote for my candidacy. Do you want to continue down the path of “fundamentally transforming America;” that is being led by President Obama and some of the Democrats who follow him, or do you want to restore our nation to its historic virtues of respecting individual privacy, independence, freedom, opportunity and according to Jefferson, our God-given unalienable rights?” Therefore, in analyzing the results of the election, the majority of the voters of the Third Congressional District voted to support the continuation of President Obama’s agenda of “fundamentally transforming America.” Also, anyone, or any group, who supported or endorsed my opponent were supporting President Obama’s agenda going into the future. Those people also were supporting the Democratic Party’s 2012 Platform, which in part supports higher taxes, more government regulation, Big Government control of our lives, including control of our healthcare and our choice of doctors and hospitals, raising the National Debt, downsizing our armed forces, open borders, amnesty for illegal aliens, increasing the people’s dependency on government hand-outs, diminishing our American family values in regards to the Democratic Party’s support for the killing of the unborn, gay marriage and the legalization of marijuana. The Democratic Party platform is also known for its’ atheism. You will not find this garbage on the 2012 Republican Platform. The primary reason that compelled me to run for Congress was a rational fear that President Obama was leading our nation to ruin. I took what I considered was a common sense approach in trying to stop Mr. Obama’s leading our nation down that destructive path. I decided that Congress was the only political body that could legitimately stop his destructive agenda. At the bare minimum, the U. S. House of Representatives needed to maintain a majority of Republicans, which would effectively stop Mr. Obama’s destructive agenda. The results of the election provided Republicans nationwide with a large majority in the House and also provided Republicans a majority in the United States Senate for the first time since 2006. My potential victory turned out not to be needed. What I did accomplish was that I offered the people a choice for a different agenda, in absolute opposition to Mr. Obama’s agenda. Because Mr. Obama is still President, our nation is still in peril, and I believe even more so now than before the election. Let me explain. Without Democratic Senator Harry Reid, acting as the Senate Majority Leader, he can no longer stop legislation from being placed on the President’s desk for him to either sign legislation into law or to veto the legislation. The new Republican majority in both Houses will isolate Mr. Obama even further. The will of the people have spoken with their votes for the newly-elected Congress. Congressional legislation should reflect the will of the people, which is how our democracy is supposed to work. The Legislative Branch will now come into direct conflict with the Executive Branch, led by President Obama. He has his agenda that he wishes to pursue, but Congress will have their agenda also. This conflict will be very important to observe now and in the coming months. It is obvious to anyone, who takes the time to study Mr. Obama’s background, to come to the realization that his upbringing was heavily influenced by Marxist doctrine. From his mother and his maternal grandparents to his mentor in Hawaii, card-carrying communist, Frank Marshall Davis, Mr. Obama was indoctrinated at an early age into Marxist ideology. He continued his fueling of his ideology when he went to school at Occidental College in California and Columbia and Harvard Universities. He stated himself in one of his books that when he was in school, he sought out the Marxist professors. He did not major in business. Returning to Chicago, after college, he became a community organizer and to this day, as President, he still employs the tactics of a Marxist, community organizer. He launched his political career in the home of avowed Communists and domestic terrorists, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. His associations with other known communists and nefarious characters are well-documented. He did not seek out private-sector business contacts. The other factor in Obama’s character is that he is considered to be a pathological narcissist, which is a mental illness. Many people, who are knowledgeable in this area of expertise, generally agree that Mr. Obama has this affliction. The disease is extraordinarily threatening because he still holds the office of the Presidency. He believes that his Marxist agenda is right for the nation, regardless of what anyone tells him or the voters, who have rejected his policies and his destructive agenda. He believes he is right; it is his way or the highway. This is where the conflict will come into play between him and Congress. Mr. Obama likes to make his own laws with his pen, signing Executive Orders, which is basically dictatorial and in total conflict with the fundamental principles of our United States Constitution. Congress is granted the authority to propose laws and once they are signed into law by the President, the legislation then becomes the law of the land. America does not do Kings, dictators, authoritarians or tyrants, re: American Revolution, World War I, World War II, the Cold War and all other wars in which our armed forces sacrificed their blood, their limbs and their lives to protect our freedom and our liberty. Because of Mr. Obama’s pathological narcissism, he will feel cornered and be internally compelled to lash out at those who he despises, which in this case, will be a Republican controlled Congress. He will create a Constitutional crisis. There are other actions that he could take to help precipitate an economic collapse of historical proportions, the likes of which our nation has never seen before. His Utopian obsession can be fully realized in his mind if our nation, and for that matter, the world would collapse economically and financially and he would then be the one who would emerge as the savior of the world, that would usher in a New World Order, with him being “The Leader.” It is sickening to think of this, but if you really get into the understanding of pathological narcissism, you will understand these suppositions. Because of the complex mind of Mr. Obama, the only political body which can stop his madness is the United States Congress. If Mr. Obama does take his action for any creation of his own law, Congress must begin to draft a resolution to impeach Mr. Obama. “We, the People” and Congress do not have the luxury of time with this potential destruction of our nation. Once the articles of impeachment have been voted upon and passed to the United States Senate, those elected Senators would then be charged with the prosecution (the trial) of the impeachment of President Obama. It will take a vote of two-thirds of the United States Senators present for a vote to convict President Obama, for among other things, high crimes and misdemeanors and perhaps treason. It would take about 15 Democratic Senators to vote for a conviction, assuming all Republican Senators vote to convict. In 1974, President Nixon was being threatened with impeachment from a Congressional committee in the United States House of Representatives. Nixon saw that he would be convicted, but he resigned his office before the impeachment proceedings began. In the case of Mr. Obama, because of his pathological narcissism, he will force the House to proceed with the Articles of Impeachment and even allowing it to proceed to trial in the U.S. Senate. He will force the Senate to take a vote. He will not resign. If he escapes a conviction in the Senate, he will continue to try to create laws on his own that would help in the destruction of America. He has already begun the destruction of our nation; the Democrats should begin to see that Obama will also destroy the Democratic Party. Obama’s goal of a one party rule in America will be held in the balance, which is in total opposition to our Constitutional framework. One Party rule means no dissent, total government control, and an authoritarian government. Freedom and liberty would be gone and would be replaced with the chains of government control over every American citizen. I truly believe that “we, the people” are at a fork in our American road. We are either going to take the left fork to destruction or the right fork to restore our American Freedom and our Liberty. In conclusion, I am reminded of what President John Adams wrote to his wife Abigail during the Revolutionary War. He said, I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation, commerce, and agriculture, in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain. – Letter to Abigail Adams, May 12, 1780 Our Founders “pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor” so that all American generations thereafter could live in peace, prosperity and freedom.
