Posted elsewhere: I want to live in a secular polity with progressive economic principles, and a truly national egalitarian funding system for schools. I want the New Deal back, and a de-emphasis on fossil fuels. I want to live in a place where children of all backgrounds feel true possibility of safety and opportunity. I want government funded Big Projects and social safety nets, because I believe that these things increase prosperity far more evenly than the system we have.
