Posted from another Devotee: Verses describing the name, form and qualities of Anantadeva, the unlimited Supreme Lord, are able to vanquish all the sinful reactions of the entire world. (S.B. 7.5.23-24 Purport) Srila Prabhupada is describing here the potency of his original books to deliver the entire world by vanquishing all of humanitys accumulated sinful reactions. Therefore, even if such verses are improperly composed, devotees hear them, describe them and accept them as bonafide and authorized. (S.B. 7.5.23-24 Purport) It should never cross a devotees mind to reject or denigrate in any way the books published by our spiritual master, who is Krishnas pure devotee. There is a proper way to treat the writings of ones Spiritual Master, which should not be altered except with the final edit approval of the Master Him or Her self.
