Jeannie & Rick Teri-Lyn Stewart added 5 new photos. happy friday! feeling pretty good but sleeping a lot which is ok because rest is healing and i still have a lot of healing to do. shingles are healing nicely but i still have a fair amount of shingle pain in my shoulder. i also still have incredible and recurring pain in my calves which a lot of transplant patients report having but the medical world is not sure why. next week i go for a phlebotomy (basically a reverse transfusion) because my liver counts are elevated and my dr is hoping that by taking out some of the iron in my blood my liver counts will decrease. the liver does not like iron, so hopefully this will work so that my liver doesnt have to work so hard. luckily the liver is a tough organ, and thankfully my dr is a brilliant and proactive one. he said i am sprinting through my recovery but the race isnt over. got lots of books on the go...steve jobs bio, alexander graham bell bio, rob ford bio, and i have 3 oliver sacks books awaiting my eyes and mind...and i have about half a dozen more books begging for my avid attention. ive also been enjoying the voice, old sitcom reruns, and some tlc shows . and now for your visual interest, here are a few post shingle pics, not taken with this but this...cheese!
