Posting on behalf of brother in law this is a consistent, trophy winning Super Street car that is also very enjoyable to drive on the street. It features a hand-built 393 CID stroker Clevo, CHI Heads, C4 3 speed automatic (by Dylan) with 4,500 stall and a 9 inch disc brake diff with 4.10 LSD. The body has a fibreglass bonnet with a ’69 Boss 429 Mustang hood scoop from the USA. It’s painted the original Ford 1969 “Competition Orange” color seen on Boss 302, Boss 429 Mustangs We also have a huge deck lid spoiler to go with it, phase 5 style I think. The interior is custom stitched black with orange piping to accent the orange and black paint. The “Jaffa” has run consistent low 11 second ET passes over the quarter mile at ASID, and this year busted the 11 second barrier at the Alice Titles (10.90 pass). It will run all day long and not fail, every part and system I have had my hands on and replaced or rebuilt it all like new for safety and reliability. It has good street tyres, a fabulous sounding 3” exhaust system, as well as the 29x9” slicks and special race mufflers required for Super Street racing. I have boxes and boxes of spare XD parts and also panels such as doors and guards. If you don’t want the race 393 motor I can supply an original XD 351C (disassembled) with the rare Carter “Thermoquad” carby and a 4 speed “toploader” setup.
