Posture Statements How I Decrease No Shows: If I, Would You? (Eric Worre 2013) If I gave you a magazine, would you read it? If I gave you a link to a private presentation, would you check it out? If I invited you to a private, invitation only overview, would you attend? If I invited you to a special invitation only conference call, would listen in? This is a very powerful statement. Let me give you some reasons as to why it’s so powerful. First it’s interchangeable. What you’re saying to your prospect is Ill do something if you promise to do something first. Second - This statement gives you instant posture. You are in full control of the flow of information. You’re not begging, asking for favors, or pleading. It’s a simple value exchange that you’re offering. Third – The statement implies that you have something of value to offer. What your saying is you’ll do something, but only if the other person will agree to do something in exchange. A Snippet Of My Script Jon, we have a webinar that’s going to explain to you who we are, what we do, and how you can possibly fit into the equation, to earn the income you need so you can [FILL IN THEIR WHY HERE] If I gave you the login details, would you be able to attend at [INSERT TIME] Great! Here’s what’s going to happen. I’m going to send you the link and call you about 30 min before to make sure you received the email and help you log on if needed. Jon, I’m a professional, so if for some reason, you cant make it at our appointed time, you’ll want to give me a call at least two hours in advance, that way I’ll have enough time to fill your spot with someone else if needed. That sounds fair doesnt it? Great, I’ll talk to you soon. When you value what you have, and position it as a potential solution to your prospects problem, your prospects will respect you, and in turn, show up to see why what you have is so valuable and how its going to work for them. PS We all get No Shows.
