Poverty Alleviation The economic development of any country - TopicsExpress

Poverty Alleviation The economic development of any country must come under a set of rules that allow people to escape poverty. To escape poverty the country must find a way to increase its GDP. The country must make private ownership of property easy. Too much administrative and bureaucratic steps in government offices creates poverty. There must be stable currency and low tax rates. The country must work to eliminate corruption. Corruption increases the cost of doing business. Without infrastructure, Nigerians cannot escape poverty. If the roads are not passable, goods and people cannot move. If there is no power supply, industries cannot work, produce cannot be preserved, and the cost of communication becomes astronomical. Freedom of movement is a veritable foundation for prosperity. Folks, we must change our culture. We need a culture that is not corrupt, a culture that values work, a culture that values time, a culture that values freedom of religion, a culture that will place honest/servant-leaders in charge. As the culture changes, so will governance, so will the laws, so will the local economy, and so will poverty be alleviated.
