Power Corrupt Dear Friends … I was a member of The Garden of the Azure Poetry Group and I have posted poems by the following poets: Charles Baudelaire, Constantine P Cavafy, Dante Alighieri, Aleksandr Pushkin, Fernando Pessoa, Florbela Espanca, John Keats, Federico García Lorca, Luís Vaz de Camões, Maya Angelou, Pablo Neruda, Rabindranath Tagore andWilliam Shakespeare. I discovered today that my name has been deleted by the Administrator of the group because my posts do not fit into the Group. This shows how sick and despicable people can be to decide that the work of the Great Poets mentioned above doesnt fit into the Group. Who the hell gives such an authority to the Administrator to decide on such work of art? It is rather pathetic and outrageous and reminds us of George Orwell, 1984 : “Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing.” This applies perfectly to the mentality of such Brilliant Administrator.
