Dear Clients of Mothers Touch Learning Centers; It has come to our attention that due to the federal government shut down that part of our funding will be cut until the shutdown is completed. We try to keep our prices as reasonable as possible; however if this government shut down continues into November we will have to raise our prices TEMPORAILY until the government shutdown is over. The funding that is being cut is used to offer the following to your child (ren); • Meals • Materials for learning activities • Teacher’s wages and training • Day to day supplies needed for proper sanitation and licensing requirements Again the increase is only if the government shut down last longer than October 31, 2013. The prices will become effective on November 4, 2013 and will only last until the shutdown is over. The increase will need to be $10 per child per week. I know that this may be a lot to you and your families but this increase will only cover half of the funding that we receive and Mothers Touch Learning Centers will absorb the rest of the loss on funding. We will keep all our clients informed as to what is happening and are praying that our country’s leaders will grow up and end this temper tantrum. Sincerely; Heather Penrod
