Power This is a word that gets tossed around a lot but seldom do I see anyone venture to define it. It seems to me we are all a tiptoeing around this word. It sounds nice to talk about stepping into or claiming your power. But in the down and dirty, nitty gritty of life, power is not necessarily a pretty word. What does it really mean? To me.... Power = The Ability to Create Successful Outcomes. Power is both soft (influence and attraction) and hard (force and violence). If you think hard power should be off the table, consider what a successful outcome looks like if you are faced with a masked intruder in the middle of the night. If you think soft power takes too long or is weak, consider what it looks like to attack a regime that has 1,000 times more fire power than you do. Lets get past the absolutes and focus on results!
