Power has been restored to all members across the MJM system! Chris Spears, MJMs CEO, praised the efforts of the MJM Linemen, Line Superintendent Jason Bouillon, Staking Engineer Charlie Baker and Dispatcher/Operations Coordinator Drew Schroeder to restore power to MJM members in a safe and efficient manner. He also expressed appreciation to the Linemen from Clinton County Electric Cooperative for the assistance that they provided. MJM had a significant amount of line on the ground from one end of the system to the other, which made restoration efforts more difficult. The tree trimming / right of way clearance work in recent years along with pole inspections and replacements made it possible for the Cooperative to recover from the winter storm much quicker than it could have 5 or 6 years ago. One longtime employee stated that if this storm had occurred 5 or 6 years ago, MJM would have had members out of power for 2 weeks. Thankfully that was not the case.
