Powerline FIlms is off to the 2014 International Summit of Cooperatives in Quebec City! We are extremely excited to go, because the summit will be an indispensable venue to promote our film, launch our crowd-funding campaign among the international donors, and to continue collecting further crucial material for the film! We have lined up interviews with such important international figures as Robert J. Shiller, a renown American economist who predicted the bubble in the US housing market, Shona McGlashan, the Chief Governance Officer of Mountain Equipment Co-operative, Richard Wilkinson, a British epidemiologist and the author of The Spirit Level: Why More Equal Societies Almost Always Do Better, and Dr. Sonja Novkovic, Chair of the Committee on Co-operative Research for the International Co-operative Alliance.
