Practicing Sphinx pose (Salamba Bhujangasana) for a good back stretch. I post this video on special request of a yoga therapy class member. I have modified movements of this pose for deeper stretch for yoga therapy classes. Full awareness and proper breathing synchronization are required. Most importantly, dont arch the neck unnecessarily. Just lift the head without arching the neck, especially for practitioners with neck pain. CAUTIONS: - Always consult medical professionals before starting any exercises. - Yoga is best practiced under the supervision of certified yoga instructors. - Always practice with awareness and listen to your body. - Safety comes first.
