Praise God!!!!!! I celebrated one year clean on Sep. 13th. So anyone who thinks the number 13 is bad then please read this: On Jan 13th of 2013 my family had to turn their back on me because they couldnt watch me die any longer. After 5 drug over-doses and multiple incarcerations, it was only a matter of time that I would not be able to be revived from the next one. My mom proceeded to plan for my funeral. So to make a long story short, my family turned their back and gave it to God. After about 9 months I made it to Teen Challenge on Sep. 13th. I graduated to 2nd phase on Jan. 13th(one year to the day my family said goodbye). I graduated the 2nd phase on Aug. 13th, and furthermore this is a 13 mo. program. God redeemed a number that once was a reminder of heartache and bad memories and turned it into His glory by using me as a testimony of His love and grace. Thank You Jesus!
