Praise God! Pro 28:14-Happy is the man that fears always, But he who hardens his heart will fall into evil. The fear of God is to respect, reverence, worship, honor of God. Honoring God is to recognize God & give Him the recognition due Him! Jesus said in John 8:29-He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him. Jesus recognized the Father in all He did & if the Father wasnt in it, He wouldnt do it! Jesus always did what pleased the Father. What always pleases the Father? Walking by faith! Heb 11:6-Walking by faith is recognizing God! Now the Lord wants us to recognize Him in all we do! 1 Cor 15:34-Awake to righteousness & sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame Gods not telling you to be aware of the law (to do the dos & dont do the donts) so you dont sin. He would not say that because youre not under the law, youre under grace. Rom 6:14 He would not say that because that would nullify the grace of God. If righteousness came by the law, then Christs death was useless. Gal 2:21 So what is He saying? Awake to recognizing God! Jer 23:6-His name is, The Lord Our Righteousness. Who is righteousness? Jesus Christ! 2 Cor 5:21 To awake to righteousness is to have the knowledge of God, to recognize God! Righteousness is not you keeping the law, thats self-righteousness. Righteousness is knowing the God of the law and letting Him keep it through you! Matt 5:17 When are you to fear God? Pro 3:6-In all your ways acknowledge Him... Acknowledge Him is to recognize Him. God wants to be in all your day, even the routine parts of life! 1 Cor 10:31-Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory (honor) of God. As you recognize the Lord, He will carry out His law (His word) in and through you, because youre looking to Him & not looking to yourself! We love you, Chris & Kelly
