Praise God friends! As I prayed this morning, and for so many who seem intent on walking in darkness, I began to feel The Lord speak to my heart. Now I need to be careful here and believe me when I say that this may well be for just me today, but it seems so many would blame God for their circumstance when in reality, they have chosen a path other than the one God has for their lives. How is it we can reject the wisdom and holiness of God, reject and neglect His Word, walk stubbornly and stiff-necked, and then blame Him when things arent going our way. Praise God! Sometimes we just gotta face the truth and that truth is that OUR CHOICES have brought us to these places that are far from Him. The truth is we want to travel first class and THAT has gained more importance to us than traveling safely. Lord, I want to travel by day, in the comfort of your light! Lord, help me to perceive sin by your grace that I might avoid it. Help me to realize that every time I step off the safety of your path, its NOT because you have a trial I need to endure, its because something else caught my eye. What would a day be like without a single mis-step, without a single stumble, a day where I recognize, YOU LORD, have given me all the direction I need, I need ONLY to follow. Friend, God DOES have something to show us today. There is SAFETY in His path! Praying you are blessed today, please pray for me. Proverbs 3:23 Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble.
