Praises and Prayers from Good Samaritan Clinic 8/19/14 • Pray for the salvation of a patient’s family member, as well as her sick mother. • Please pray for one of our volunteers that recently had a pacemaker implanted, for her health and recovery. • Please pray for a volunteer who is pregnant, that her last couple months of pregnancy would be healthy and peaceful. • Pray for discernment for one of our volunteers who is trying to decide whether or not to give up her home and move to be closer to family. • Pray for Lou, who is trying to sell her house. Pray for her son Cody, who is returning to school this week. • Praise that Kristin has safely returned home from vacation! • Praise that Chelsea’s dad was able to move and seems to be doing and feeling somewhat better. Thank you for praying for him and please continue to pray that his heart would be turned towards God, that he would be healed, and that he’d be able to discern truth from delusion. Please pray for the turmoil and riots in our country going on in Missouri and peace for the affected families. Pray for the abducted and abused little Amish sisters, that justice and healing would come. Keep our armed forces and military families in your prayers, that they would have peace and protection in the midst of all the danger, uncertainty, and unrest. School starts this week! Lets lift up our teachers and the students returning to the classroom. Pray for the unspoken request of our patients, who don’t always tell us everything that’s going on in their lives; pray that God would still be at work, that his great love would be understood, and that their hearts would be more tuned to seeing his grace. Pray that the Holy Spirit would be speaking through us this week, giving us words to say and showing us how to act, when we know that we have no idea how to really help heal them and direct them out of our own wisdom. We need God to be at work though us and be transforming us everyday! Grace and peace, Chelsea
