Prayer Is Your Key June 27th, 2013 It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever found yourself at the point of no return? You made some bad decisions that led you in the wrong direction. Have you ever had to choose between two things? You desired both, but you knew you could not have both of them. Have you ever faced dark clouds in your life? Sickness, depression, loneliness, and death surround you. Have you ever received word that your job was in jeopardy? After all the years of service and loyalty, there is a chance you may be unemployed. Is there hell on your job? Can you relate to any of theses questions? Do you know someone who can? What do you do when life’s problems want to overtake you? Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My friend, Prayer Is Your Key! Prayer is the most effective, yet under-used weapon. The Bible declares in James 5:16 - Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. God has given you the key to open door(s) of healing, peace, security, comfort, love, and His presence. Prayer Is Your Key! When nothing seems certain in your life, you can always bend your knees in prayer. During your times of loneliness and despair, prayer will allow you to enter into conversation with Almighty God. In your life, there are many doors in front of you. You have family and friends attempting to advise you. You have co-workers desiring to instruct you. Your emotions are trying to get the best of you. Prayer is the secret ingredient that will allow you to discern which door the Lord would want you to enter. The Bible declares in Matthew 21:22 - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. My brother, my sister, what are you currently going through? What dilemma do you face today? What negative report have you heard? Prayer Is Your Key! When friends have walked away, prayer can surround you with new friends (Proverbs 18:24). When money has dried up, prayer can lead you to the overflow of God’s blessings (Luke 6:38). When your body has experienced sickness and disease, prayer can direct you to the healing hands of God (Isaiah 53:5). When your job is in jeopardy, prayer can lead you into the peace of God (Philippians 4:7)(Matthew 6:25-33). Prayer Is Your Key! The enemy will attempt to discourage you. Attacks will come against your mind. The Bible declares in Matthew 16:19 - And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
