Prayer day scheduled for 5th July 2014. # There will be a ladies prayer session at St. Andrew’s on Wednesday 2nd July at 7.00 am, this is to lay grounds for Saturday and those in parishes within Nairobi are requested to attend in large numbers. # Following the call by the president His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta for a national day of prayer-the same will be done on Saturday, NCCK has therefore asked women to report at the ACK Cathedral as earlier scheduled ( 7.00 am) and make intercessory prayers before proceeding to Uhuru park. # They will proceed to Uhuru park for the national prayers and where the President will be in attendance. # There will be tents ( tagged Women and Daughters of Kenya in Prayer) reserved for women but I request confirmation on the number expected to attend. # The session at Uhuru park will begin at 10.00am so punctuality is key # All women should have white hankies or white stripes-if a number is confirmed, I may collect some from the NCCK after the prayer session on Wednesday. All women in Kenya and particularly Christians should take it upon themselves to pray for the rebirth of this nation. In their simplicity, they will do great exploits since nothing is impossible with God. Women are a sign of love ,the cross and restoration, they therefore must operate in the laws and principles of God and remember that,’ the heart of a king is in the hands of God-Proverbs”.
