Prayer request: Hello prayer warriors! I have a favor to ask. “Anyone Seen My Rose-Colored Glasses?” is in its final phase. This is a manuscript (soon to be new book) I’ve been working on since 2008. Yep…2008. It holds within its pages my heart. Now that my illustrator has completed all the illustrations, it’s time once more to go through the manuscript and edit just a little bit more before I submit it. Please be in prayer for me as I go through this process. It’s my earnest goal that the Lord is given all the glory for this work. Please pray that He will guide my heart, mind, and words towards that end. You won’t see me on FB as regularly and I wanted you to know why but more importantly I wanted to ask for your prayers as I covet them with all my heart. Just so you know a little something about the book, here’s a brief summary—“Anyone Seen My Rose-Colored Glasses?” takes everyday occurrences, personal struggles, world and social issues, days gone by, and plops the Bible right down in the middle of it. For years people have said the Bible is obsolete. In truth, we say that in an effort to give ourselves permission to do whatever we want with no rules or consequences. This work forces the reader to remove those tinted obstacles. It unfolds God’s word in such a way the reader won’t even know what hit ‘em. Each chapter conveys a different story about real life situations—some lighthearted and some serious. The reader finds himself traveling to places he’s long since forgotten. There will be crying, laughing, and screaming along the way. Then the realization that God’s Word will never be obsolete no matter the year or century. THAT’S IT! After it is submitted, the waiting game begins. So each day I’ll post on my FB Fan Page the chapter I’m working on that day. If you’ll lift that up in prayer I will be eternally grateful. The Lord has been pushing me towards this end for a long time. So I thank you as always for your prayers. Let the editing begin!!
