Prayer request and FQ: I am a 21 year old first time mom, currently 19 weeks. I had my first Ultrasound on Friday, I am having a Baby Girl. However, They found that We are part of a small 1% of pregnancies where there are only 2 blood vessels in the umbilical cord instead of the regular 3. My doctor assured me that of this rare happening most babies come out normal, although it does increase changes of lower birth weight and possible chances of having a premature baby and having to be induced early. My little girl is very active and moves around constantly, but Im scared none the less. Have any other ladies had this issue or dealt with anything similar? How Did you get through it, or are there ways to insure that she is getting enough nutrition and gaining enough weight? Prayers and advice needed. Thank you! ~5
