Prayers and condolences today to the family, friends and fans of one of the true heroes of country music, Kevin Sharp, whose biggest hit, “Nobody Knows,” topped Billboard’s country chart for four weeks straight. Kevin passed away over the weekend. He was just 43. From the time he was a young man, Kevin’s life revolved around two things: making music and fighting Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. The Make-A-Wish Foundation granted his wish to meet superstar record producer David Foster, who became his friend and mentor. After chemo and radiation, he went into remission long enough to become a country star, a motivational speaker and a tireless champion of kids with cancer. He even cut an album called “Make A Wish.” His family requests that in lieu of flowers, fans make a donation in his memory to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
