Prayers for Daily Living To You, O God, we raise our hearts and voices in praise of Your wondrous majesty and Your supreme wisdom as we experience our gradual movement toward the dark and the cold days of Winter. To delight us, you have painted Your canvas with wide and beautiful strokes from the leaves that give us great joy and comfort just as they die to soften our forest steps and nourish the earth once again. Unlike our many ancestors who feared the end of their days in this cycle, we are blessed with the assurance of Your continued care and providence for us: new life coming out of cold death. We are grateful and we praise you! Amen.
