Prayers needed please- Emerson was exposed to the flu/respiratory virus from another child and has been extremely sick for over a week now. Despite increased treatments shes losing weight and just not clearing mucus :-( We have CF clinic Wednesday but if a round of antibiotics doesnt kick this we will be looking at a possible hospital admission for IV antibiotics. Ways you can help keep little Emerson healthy: 1.)I know its hard to miss work, family gatherings, and etc but when your childs sick they really belong at home resting. Not only do they not feel well but exposing many others to it is just not right. 2.) As a community everyone should pay more attention to washing hands often and sanitizing prior to eating and after leaving a public place etc... 3.) cough into your sleeve of your shirt or where the bend of your arm is not into your hand. Coughing on your hand then spreads germs onto every surface you touch. Coughing into your arm limits the spread. The flu kills healthy people and is so so dangerous to the elderly and those with diseases. Thanks for all your prayers & continued support! 💜
