Prayers please. My dad is in hospice and is not expected to live much longer. He received Christ as his Savior during WW2 and proclaims himself to be saved. To be honest he hasnt always behaved correctly but salvation is by grace not works. He was faithful to his God, always naming Christ as his savior. He was faithful to his country. Serving one tour of duty with anti-aircraft artillery in Panama and another with the 82nd AA. He was married to the same woman for 62 years until he lost her 6 years ago. He went to work every day even when sick to provide for his family. We never knew hunger deprivation growing up. My sister has been awesome quitting her career to take care of him and mom taking no thought for herself. She reports that he is talking with my mom in his sleep, smiling and even laughing. I know the bible forbids communicating with the dead ,but it doesnt say Christ cant be merciful and give one of His sons a taste of what lies beyond. Pray for my sister B.J.
