Praying According To Gods Will ~ It is important to know and understand that there are some prayers that can never be answered. Prayers that are not according to the will of God cannot be answered. For instance, a murderer cannot pray to God for him to be successful in his killing operation and have his prayers answered. Because, he is not praying according to the will of God. I John 5:14, And, this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, he heareth us. God only hears and answers prayers that are prayed according to His will. One major way of making sure that we are praying according to His will is by praying in the Holy Ghost. If you pray a prayer out of your mind and out of your own thinking, it may be unscriptural. It may be selfish. But, praying in the spirit eliminates the possibility of selfishness entering our prayer life. Romans 8:26, Likewise, the spirit also helpeth our infirmities, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought. But, the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings, which cannot be uttered. Speaking with other tongues is praying as the spirit gives utterance. It is spirit-directed praying, which in turn, gives us express answers. Every believer should speak in tongues. It provides a way for you to pray about things that you would not think to pray about or are not even aware of. We already know that the Holy Spirit helps us pray for particular situations when we do not know how to pray about those situations. In addition, the Holy Spirit, who knows everything, can pray things through us for things about which our natural mind knows nothing. God has given us this wonderful spiritual gift to bless us, to edify us, and to refresh us throughout our lives on this Earth. Let us receive what God has provided. And, enjoy the benefits.
