Praying Through the Countries - Moldova The Romanian speaking people of Romania and Moldova descended from an ancient country known as Dacia. It was invaded by several groups until the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire controlled them. Next, the Russians invaded and finally, Moldovian independence was gained in 1991. This has resulted in an extremely diverse citizenship and variety of languages. A quick history lesson but it is important to know that although many have claimed to own Moldova, there is only one true King Who will come again. Pray for Moldovans to turn to Jesus Christ, find true love in Him, and then healing between all people groups. Did you know that Moldova is known for its wine production but most is exported? Even their folklore speaks of producing wine.
