Praying for today. That the radiation is working and that Dad comes out feeling good. 5 more...then some standard chemo. Cancer is kinda like a bad boyfriend. The kind who never fails to make you cry before you go to bed and as soon as you wake up, for an indefinite amount of time. My family and I have certainly become well aware of the fragility of life. Also, cancer doesnt discriminate. So, if you are in a tanning bed, I suggest you immediately jump out. My dads skin cancer came from a mole. He has never tanned, always used sunscreen, and always protected his skin and avoided sun when possible. Cancer didnt care, but Im 75 percent more likely to develop metastatic melanoma someday because I have used a tanning bed and have a genetic predisposition to skin cancer. #wearsunscreen #curemelanoma #melanomaawareness #tanningbedskillyou #hope #strength #family #curebraincancer
